For my tea project, I wanted to showcase pride in the modern and historical aspect. I was able to incorporate the history of the Stonewall riots onto the box, as well as the modern day colors of the different well known pride flags. When thinking of a creative, original way to show these flags on the box, I decided to go with a stained glass look. Still, I didn't want too much color to overwhelm the brand, so I was able to find a way to grab black and white pictures of the actual Stonewall Riots. For the font, I wanted to choose something that felt like the 60s and believe I found the perfect one to match what I was looking for. It is the perfect blend of historic for the time period, yet fun to match the colors popping.
